Use the share button in any app (Safari, Photos, YouTube, anywhere), then pick Screencrate from the share sheet and choose a board. You can also add notes, photos, and files from inside the app with the plus button.

Links and full web pages, screenshots and photos, notes and checklists, YouTube videos, and documents like PDFs, text files, audio, and video. If an app has a share button, its content can go into Screencrate.

Open the share sheet in any app, scroll the row of app icons to the end, and tap More. Turn Screencrate on, then drag it toward the top so it is easy to reach. iOS keeps new share actions hidden until you enable them there.

No account, ever, and Screencrate works offline. The only time it reaches the network is to fetch a link preview when you save a page, and to run price checks if you turn them on.

Boards are visual collections that hold your saves. Group them however your brain works: recipes, travel, wish lists, research, a project, a case. Every item lands in a board so you can find it again.

The free version includes up to 10 boards. Pro removes the limit for unlimited boards.

Search runs across every save, note, and screenshot. It matches plain keywords, and it also searches by meaning, so a search for running shoes can surface a saved sneaker even when those exact words are not on the page.

Yes. When you save something you can drop it straight into a board, or let auto categorization suggest where it belongs.

One capture saves a full screenshot of a web page, the raw HTML, and a PDF. Each file is stamped with a SHA-256 hash so the record can be checked later for tampering. You can group captures into cases, add exhibit numbers, and export everything as a single ZIP.

Capturing pages is part of the app. The exportable Evidence report PDF, Cases, and trusted timestamps are unlocked with Pro.

Each capture is a self-contained, hash-verified copy of what a page looked like when you saved it, which is useful for documenting disputes, harassment, or anything you may need to reference later. Whether a specific record is accepted in a formal setting is up to that setting, so keep the exported file unchanged.

Screencrate reads the price from a product page or a screenshot, then checks again on a schedule you set, once every 24 hours at the time of day you pick. Set a target price and it notifies you the moment the price reaches it.

Anything with a price: sneakers, tickets, flights, electronics, groceries, furniture. If you can screenshot it, Screencrate can watch it.

Make sure the price is clearly visible in the saved screenshot or on the saved page, and that price checks are turned on for that item. Prices refresh once a day, so a change can take up to 24 hours to show up.

Any board that holds YouTube videos becomes a playable playlist. Screencrate pulls in the thumbnails and plays the videos in order inside the app, with no YouTube account and no algorithm rearranging your list.

Saved YouTube videos play through the official YouTube player, and YouTube requires playback to pause when the app is not on screen. This is a platform rule, not a bug.

Entirely on your device. Screencrate has no accounts and no servers. That also means deleting the app deletes your data, so export a backup first if you are switching phones.

Backups export your boards and saved items to a file you control. Save it to iCloud Drive or any folder you choose, and restore it from the same screen on any device. We never receive or store your backups.

The free version keeps up to 10 backup points. Pro makes backups unlimited.

On the old phone, export a backup to iCloud Drive or a folder you can reach from both devices. On the new phone, install Screencrate, open the backup screen, and restore from that file. Because nothing lives on a server, the backup file is the only copy, so confirm it restored before wiping the old device.

Yes. Turn on App Lock to require Face ID or your fingerprint to open Screencrate. It re-locks when you leave.

Screencrate Pro is a one-time $5.99 purchase. It removes all ads and unlocks unlimited boards, unlimited backups, Smart Analysis, board themes and exports, and the Evidence report PDF, Cases, and trusted timestamps, plus priority support. Purchases go through the App Store; use Restore Purchase on the Pro screen after reinstalling or changing devices.

Pro is a single $5.99 purchase through the App Store. It is not a subscription, and there is nothing to renew.

Smart Analysis reads text out of your photos and screenshots, detects objects and faces, and makes all of it searchable. It runs on your device and is part of Pro.

Open Settings, go to the Pro screen, and tap Restore Purchase while signed into the same Apple Account that bought Pro. If it still does not unlock, email us and include your App Store receipt; we will make it right.

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for Screencrate Pro. See our refund note for details, and email us if you hit a snag.

No analytics and no tracking. Your saves live in a local database on your device. The only network calls Screencrate makes are link previews when you save a page and the optional price checks you turn on.

It is removed with the app, because nothing is stored anywhere else. Export a backup before deleting or before switching phones. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
